The Lady Panthers tallied two more District 25-AAA wins last week defeating the Lago Vista Lady Vikings and the Georgetown Gateway Prep Lady Gators. On Tuesday, September 30, Blanco traveled to Lago Vista and brought home a 3-0 win with set scores of 25-21,25-15, and 25-16.
Reagan Rogers slammed 19 kills to lead the Panthers. Lexee Jenkins hit 10 and Abbie Culton added 8. Jenkins made 24 assists, with Rogers adding 4. Kari Graham made 3 assists. Rogers hit 2 service aces and Graham made 1 ace.
Rogers lead the team with 14 digs followed by Payton Savarino with 8 and Jenkins with 7. Jamie McClinton blasted 3 blocks.
On Friday, October 3, the Panthers hosted the Gateway Prep Gators grabbing a 3-0 sweep with set scores 25-10, 25-6, and 25-18. Rogers hit 22 kills, 5 assists, 2 aces, and 11 digs. Jenkins made 7 kills, 28 assists, 5 aces and 5 digs. Culton hit 7 kills, 1 assist, and 7 digs. Savarino made 10 digs with Graham adding 7. McClinton hit 2 blocks and Skylar Burns hit 1.
The Panthers travel to Florence and Jarrell this week to begin the second round of district play.
