Three Blanco FFA/Jr. FFA members Dylan Brattlof, Hanna Garrett and Kinidi Moore traveled to the Kerr County Fair on October 26-27th to compete in a jackpot livestock show.
Dylan took a few steers on Saturday, while Hanna and Kinidi took swine on Sunday. Dylan started the weekend off right with winning Champion British Division. Then he ended the day with winning Grand Champion Overall.
Sunday morning, Garrett and Moore competed in multiple breed divisions in the swine barn. Kinidi placed 2nd with her Cross barrow and 5th with her York barrow. Hanna had Breed Champion Hamp barrow, Breed Champion York Gilt, Reserve Breed Champion Dark OPB and 1st place with her Cross Gilt. Hanna finished the day winning Reserve Grand Champion Overall with her York Gilt.
