The Johnson City Police Department has joined up with one thousand other police agencies in Texas for the "Click It Or Ticket" program. This program begins May 20 and runs through June 2.
JCPD officers will be stopping violators not wearing their seat belts.
“I wanted to give everyone a heads up and fair warning in the best interests of public safety,” says Chief Randy Holland. “Remember, it is state law.”
