During the Sunday morning worship services on February 3, the Blanco Cowboy Church celebrated their 13-year anniversary. A brief testimony was given at the beginning of the service, sharing how the first service was held on February 2, 2000, and how God is continuing to fulfill His Vision through the church family. The testimony ended with the quote of Scripture Habakkuk 2:2-3...”Then the Lord answered me and said: ‘Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.’”
Everyone was invited to view the survey rendering of the Church Vision, which is posted in the sanctuary.
The worship service continued with Darrell Ayres leading the church family in united prayer for their shared praise reports and prayer needs. Ryon and Rene Krause, assisted by Darrell Ayres, then led the church family in praise and worship, followed by Children’s Church led by Donna Kramer. Minister Darrell Ayres led the Communion service and then preached the Word.
Following the service, a delicious covered dish lunch was enjoyed, along with great fellowship.
Many cowboys and cowgirls, young and old, brought their horses and enjoyed the afternoon riding and roping for Jesus in the Church Arena.
