Clifford L. Stovall (Obituaries)

Clifford L. Stovall, 87, of Blanco, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family. Clifford was born in Manitou, Oklahoma to Walter L. and Tennie Leta (Orbison) Stovall. He married Cola Mae Pritchard on March 24, 1946 in Frederick, Oklahoma, soon after Clifford joined the U. S. Air Force. After 23 years of service and attaining the rank of Chief Master Sgt he retired in 1971. Following his career with the U. S. Air Force he was the plant manager for the Big Spring State Hospital. He was a member of the Blanco Hills Church of Christ. He loved music and taught all of his children to sing.

Clifford is survived by his wife of 66 years, Cola Mae Stovall, sons: Terry Stovall and wife Judy of Gainesville, Georgia, Phillip Stovall of Blanco, and Jeff Stovall and wife Kelly of La Port, Tx, daughters; Cheryl Salmon and Leslie Stovall both of Blanco, a brother Jack Ray Stovall and wife Dorothy of Big Spring, six grandchildren; Eli Stovall and wife Emily, Brian Stovall, Miker Stovall and wife Roxanne, Savannah Stovall, Aimee Perry, Matthew Stovall, and Kelse Stovall, six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Clifford was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Leta Severns and a son Paul Stovall in 1983.

Visitation will be Friday February 8 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Crofts – Crow Funeral Home, Blanco, where funeral services will be held at 2 PM Saturday February 9, 2013. Interment follow in Blanco Cemetery.
