The Lady Panthers basketball team trailed by only 6 points at the end of the 3rd quarter, but the 7th ranked Jarrell lady Cougars pulled ahead in the 4th for a 69-58 win.
The Panthers were paced by Jamie McClinton and Charlsey Smith who each scored 18 points. Reagan Rogers added 11, with Lexee Jenkins scoring 6. Payton Savarino made 4 points, with Abbie Culton adding 1 point.
The Panthers Boys Varsity team also fell 44-51 to 9th ranked Jarrell Cougars. Individual scorers were unavailable at press time.
The Panther Basketball teams host Lago Vista on Tuesday, Jan. 13 followed by an “open” date on Friday, Jan. 16.
