I would like to thank everyone who openly (or secretly) congratulated me for my team, WVU, beating the Longhorns Saturday night. It was a good game, the weather was, to put it mildly, brisk, and it was a big thrill for me to see such a wave of blue and gold in the stands - I didn't realize how homesick I was. The only thing marring the evening was the fact that the WVU Marching Band wasn't there. "The Show Band of the Southwest" was good, but there's just something about “Hail West Virginia” that can't be beat - it's even the ringtone on my phone! In a couple “what a small world" moments, the people who sat near us knew my boys' grandparents and the girl who sat beside me went to a high school that was our rival when I lived in Charleston. Go 'Eers!
Don't forget all the things that are coming in the next couple months - on our countdown to Christmas!
