The Blanco Panther softball team fell to the Boling Lady Bulldogs, 0-10, in an Area matchup at the Shiner Starplex on Thursday, May 1.
The Panthers struggled at the plate with Abbie Culton getting the only Blanco hit with a single to right field. Kasie Dowdy got on base twice with a walk and a “hit-by-pitch”. Meaghen Seales pitched the 5-inning game for the Panthers.
The Panthers graduate two seniors, Meaghen Seales and Kasie Dowdy. Eight Juniors return including Abbie Culton, Jamie McClinton, Cheyenne Klein, Payton Savarino, Charlsey Smith , Lexee Jenkins, Kari Graham and Taylor Spriggs. Freshmen Andrea Calzoncit, Katlinn Calzoncit, Victoria Moya, and Montana Wiseman also return next year.
The Lady Panthers finish the year with a 20-8 overall record.
