Flower Pots! All sizes, shapes, colors, and details will be the theme for Door Prizes at next week’s Blanco County Extension Education Association Annual Spring Luncheon. Each individual who has his or her name drawn will be awarded the option to make their personal selection from the various door prizes that are offered.
The luncheon will be held Thursday, April 24, 2014, at the Blanco First United Methodist Church, 61 Pecan Street, Blanco, Texas. Serving will begin at 11:00 am and continue until 1:00 pm. Cost will be $9.00 per person.
Main dishes, side dishes, salads, and desserts will be offered for your menu choices. Cookbooks, containing the recipes of the food items for tasting will be available for purchase for $4.00. A record number of items and a record variety of goods will be offered in our Country Store this year—with emphasis on “homemade”. It is always fun to see just what might appear and be available at a bargain price!
Each year the Association works toward funding a county 4-H scholarship for our county youth and funding a portion of each 4-H member’s annual enrollment fee. Please attend and help us achieve this worthwhile goal. You will not be disappointed!
