Did you know:
We’re justified (declared “righteous”)! Romans 3:24 “24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:”
No condemnation awaits us :+) Romans 8:1 “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”
We’ve been set free! From the power of sin that leads to death. Romans 8:2 “2For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.”
We’re also sanctified (made holy) in Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 1:2 “2Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both their's and our's:”
We are pure and holy in Christ when we believe in Him! 1 Corinthians 1:30 “30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:”
We’ll be given new life at the resurrection. Praise God for our hope in Christ Jesus! 1 Corinthians 15:22 “22For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.”
We’ve been made new! 2 Corinthians 5:17 “17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
We’re made the righteousness of God in Jesus. 2 Corinthians 5:21 “21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”
We are also one in Christ with everyone who believes in Him! Galatians 3:28 “28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.”
We’ve been blessed in Christ! Ephesians 1:3 “3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:”
God has adopted us and does not see our faults anymore either! Ephesians 1:4-6 “4According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.”
Our sins are removed & forgiven. Ephesians 1:7 “7In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;”
We will be brought under Christ’s authority. Ephesians 1:10-11 “10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: 11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:”
We’re identified as belonging to God by the Holy Spirit! Ephesians 1:13 “13In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,”
And believe it or not, we’ve been raised up to sit with Christ! Ephesians 2:6 “6And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:”
We are no longer a mess; we’re now God’s masterpiece! Ephesians 2:10 “10For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”
We’ve even been brought near to God. Man, I don’t know about you, but I’m built up! Ephesians 2:13 “13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.” That word ‘nigh’ means near.
We share in the promise of blessings through Christ no matter if you are a Jew or a Gentile! Ephesians 3:6 “6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:” HALLELUJAH! I’m probably a Gentile! Yippee!
We can pray directly to God in Jesus’ name, because He’s our Father! Ephesians 3:12 “12 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.”
We’re members of Christ’s body, the church. Ephesians 5:29-30 “29For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: 30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.”
We’re made complete in Christ. Colossians 2:10 “10And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:”
We’re set free from our sinful nature!!! Colossians 2:11 “11In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:”
We will have eternal Glory! 2 Timothy 2:10 “10Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.”
