LBJ State Park and Historic Site wishes to thank all those that participated and attended the 44th Annual LBJ Tree Lighting. The festivities were held on the evening of December 15th, 2013 with the help of Luci Baines Johnson lighting the Christmas tree. Lucy selected World War II veteran, Felix Neffendorf, to help light the Christmas tree.
This night also celebrated the 50th Anniversary of TPWD and the 50th Anniversary of the start of Lyndon Baines Johnson presidency.
It was a wonderful evening of celebration here in the Texas Hill Country.
