The 6th annual Veterans parade in downtown Blanco will be Saturday, November 9. Veterans are invited to come out and ride on a float. Parade line-up will be at Blanco High School, at 9 a.m.
The Texas Honor Ride supporting wounded troops will be coming through town at 10:45 a.m., immediately following the parade. Wear your red, white, and blue, and wave your flags!
The American Legion will host a fundraising meal following the festivities, see page 3 for details.
The Blanco County WW2 Museum, located in the Buggy Barn Complex, will be open to the public following the morning’s events, with a special address from Mayor Chuck Homan
