Levi Windham of Boy Scout Troop 497 has completed his Eagle Scout service project. Levi, along with Scout Leaders and some of the Boy Scouts in his troop, built a fence around the children’s playground at the Blanco United Methodist Church. Young men working on their Eagle Scout have to come up with a project that will benefit their community, plan the project, get approval, find the financing for their project, and set up scheduling for delivery of materials and schedule work days. When other boys in his Troop help with Eagle Projects, they are earning Service Hours. With completion of this project, Levi is eligible to become an Eagle Scout.
