The Blanco Library is pleased to announce that The Libri Foundation has donated 80 children’s books to our community. The Libri Foundation’s mission is to help rural libraries like ours to provide the best quality children’s collection to encourage and nurture a love for reading and learning. The Friends of the Blanco Library raised donations at their annual Dinner and a Movie in the spring that the Foundation matched 2-1. The collections of new books are showcased in our library, but join us August 29th at 6pm for a Special Collection Party and August 30st at 10:30 am for a special Libri Story Time!
