The Panther baseball team claimed two more district wins defeating the Ingram Warriors, 10-0 on Tuesday, April 9 and downing the Johnson City Eagles, 4-0 on Friday, April12.
Against the Warriors, Kyle Sauceda got the win going 3 innings, striking out 2 and scattering 2 hits. Ian Ray went 2 innings striking out 3. Sam Isenberg, Colton Childress, Kyle Suceda, and Layne Lassberg all had 2 hits for the Panthers.
Against the Eagles, Lassberg pitched a gem of a game going the distance and throwing a 3-hit shut out. Isenberg had 2 hits. Lassberg tripled. TJ hardin had an RBI ground out. The Panthers swiped 8 bases.
Blanco is now 23-3 on the year and 6-0 in district.
