Right now for Halloween we have some scary movies on sale for $1 each! Make your home Fright Night Movie Central for your friends and family. For just $20 or less, you can throw a hauntingly cool party by buying 5 movies from us, picking up a couple of bottles of your favorite party beverage or make a scary punch with green sherbet, club soda, and floating plastic eyeballs, add some popcorn and a few other Halloween decorations, and you have an instant recipe for chilling fun! It is almost time for Christmas and we have a few gift ideas for you! Stop by our library and purchase a beautiful Hill Country calendar for $5, yummy salsa for $7, a fun “I support the Blanco Library” shirt for $12, or good books and movies ranging from $.50-$5.

Looking to make new friends or hang out with old ones? Join our Blanco Library Friends, make friends, and help us buy books! The Friends purchase all our books and help support community programs as well as present exclusive programs, such as mixers at Juniper Hills Farm. Help us to buy your favorite authors by becoming a Friend of the Library and suggesting books!

This week’s Summer Reading Program Drawing winner is Ryan G! Kids, remember to keep an eye out for your name in this newspaper to see if you won! Remember to sign up next year to earn and win prizes.
