The Blanco FFA Livestock and Entomology teams recently competed in the South Texas Invitational Career Development Events at Pleasanton. More than 100 schools from across South and Central Texas competed in various events at this year’s competition.
In the entomology event, Blanco would take home 1st place with Erica Flores winning high point individual honors overall. Also placing in the top 10 individually were Rance Dollahite 2nd, Megan Wier 4th, Monica Flores 5th and Deanna Sevilla 6th.
In the livestock contest, Blanco placed 2nd overall as a team. Individually, Logan Dodd finished 1st with Sam Isenberg 5th, Tyler Hardin 9th, Skylar Itz 15th and Ed Alvarado 18th.
