Randy Way, 54 of Blanco passed away on Sunday at his home surrounded by his loving family. Graveside services were held on Thursday March 28, 2013 at the Masonic Cemetery in Johnson City under the direction of Crofts – Crow Funeral Home in Blanco.
Randy was born on March 29, 1958 to Kenneth Richard Way and Wanda (Wood) Owens. He grew up in the Kerrville area and was a man of many talents, from driving a truck to carpenter work and plumbing as well. Randy was very active in the Calvary Temple Church and was known to be a member of God’s Team. He was preceded in death by a brother, Doug Owens.
Randy is survived by his mother Wanda Owens of Blanco; two sons Josh Way and Maria Zarate, and Nathan Way of Blanco; three daughters Brittany Way and Josh Culp of Kerrville, Amanda Toole and husband Galen of Blanco, and Dora Jane of Blanco; four brothers Mark Owens and wife Christina of Johnson City, Brian , Gailane and Mike, all of Blanco; sister Kimberly Liles of Louisiana; close friend, who was considered a brother Charles Ellison and wife Fabiola (who is the mother of Randy’s children) of Lampasas; three grandchildren Angel, Corbin, and a third one on the way; numerous nieces and nephews; a very close family friend Jo Moore; and Orlando Hernandez, a son at heart.
