Lt. Bob Shelton with the Blanco County Sheriff’s Office says that a 14-year-old female was reported missing by her parents on Friday, March 22. Deputies and officers from all over the county responded to the call. Officers tracked her cell phone and found her. She alleged that she had been kidnapped at gunpoint and taken to an address in the southern part of the county, Shelton continued. Deputies went to the address and the two elderly residents answered the door. The deputies figured they weren’t being told the truth, Shelton said, and they contacted the parents. The minor was turned over to her parents.
