Panther Baseball Champs in Blanco Tournament (Sports)

All-tournament recognition went to McKay Adamson, Josh McCaslin, Sam Isenberg, and Kyle Gray. Isenberg was named MVP.

The Panther baseball team tallied a 5-0 record in the Blanco tournament to claim the championship trophy. On Friday the Panthers beat San Antonio FEAST, 12-1. Sam Isenberg and Chad Marshall each had a triple and two RBI. Layne Lassberg got the win on the mound. Next the Blanco team shut-out Medina 20-0. Sam Isenberg, Kyle Gray, Josh McCaslin, and Logan Dodd all had 2 hits. Isenberg had 4 RBI with Dodd adding 3. Colton Childress pitched for the win. In the final game on Friday Blanco defeated San Antonio Cornerstone 6-1. Colton Childress and McKay Adamson each had 2 hits. Skylar Itz drove in 3 runs. Josh McCaslin got the win striking out 10 and giving up only one hit.

On Saturday, the Panthers outscored the San Antonio Wolverines, 5-3. T.J. Hardin knocked in two runs. Josh McCaslin had one RBI. Sam Isenberg got the win on the mound. In the championship game Blanco defeated Karnes 8-7. Chase Glowka had two hits. Kyle Gray and Colton Childress each scored two runs. T.J. picked up the win.

All-Tournament selections for Blanco were Kyle Gray, McKay Adamson, and Josh McCaslin. Sam Isenberg was MVP.

Blanco is now 14-2 on the year. The team has won all 3 tournaments they have played-Texas Military Institute (TMI), Johnson City, and Blanco.
