Avenging their previous 55-66 district 27-AA loss to the Ingram Warriors, the Panthers beat the Warriors 62-47 on Tuesday, January 29. Blanco displayed a balanced offensive attack combined with a tenacious defense to take the solid win. Blanco now stands at 4-1 in District 27-AA with Ingram at 5-1.
Kyle Sauceda pumped in 18 points to lead the Panthers. Brett Champion drove through the Warrior defense to score 15. David Ramirez hit 12 points with Sam Isenberg adding 9. Colton Childress and Carlin Green each scored 4 points.
The Panthers travel to Comfort on Tuesday, February 8, and then complete their regular schedule at home against Johnson City on Friday, February 12.
