A man was walking through the park and noticed a pho- tographer had set up shop and snapping pictures of people. He had his picture taken and came back later to pick it up. When he looked at it he said it didn't do him justice and he didn't want it. The photographer looked at the picture and then looked at the man and said, "Mister, you don't need justice you need mercy."
All of us need mercy. How wonderful it is that Jesus is full of grace and truth. "For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will hardly die for a righ- teous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die. But God dem- onstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sin- ners, christ died for us" (Romans 5:6-8). Come and learn of Him. It's no shame to admit one needs help. Philip asked the Ethio- pian, "Do you understand what you are reading?" The Ethiopian said, "Well, how could I, unless someone guides me" (Acts 8:30-31)?
