December 9, 2012, the day after the "Christmas in Blanco Night Parade.” Wow! I was speechless when the parade entered downtown last night, what a sight! I don't know where to begin except to say "thank you" to every entry in the parade, everyone who attended, and to the vendors who stayed at the Christmas Market. I cannot mention everyone by name because this letter would probably not get published; however, I do need to name a few. First, to Tom my husband - again your help and patience and listening made me shine. Amaya, my beautiful granddaughter, your help and patience are unmeasurable. I love you both. Clark and Laura - Clark, you also made me shine. You, sir, have a God-given voice and I know this town appreciated you, and I sure do. Laura, you were at the right place at the right time. Thank you both. To the city and people of Blanco, I hope it was as much fun for you as it was for me. Also, thank you to Libbey at the chamber and to Lesley at OBCCPS for working all day and evening. As I said, I cannot mention everyone by name, but I am so grateful to everyone who made this come together and bring Christmas to Blanco.
