Brown to Transfer After 17 Years at Blanco Post Office (Community News)

Cathy Brown (left) will soon transfer to the Fisher Post Office. She asked for her photo to be taken here, behind the Blanco Post Office counter as, “This is how everyone knows me!”

Most of you may know Cathy Brown at the Blanco Post Office as one of the smiling sweet ladies who is always happy to help you with your mail and packages. We are sad to announce that after 17 years of being a part of our community, she is transferring to the Fisher Post Office.

“You guys are like my family.” says Cathy of the community she’s come to love. Cathy is sad to go but is expecting to enjoy working in Fisher as well.

The Blanco community is invited to join Cathy this Saturday, January 10, at 7 p.m. at the Old 300 BBQ to wish her well and give her a warm Blanco send off. The farewell party will carry on through Jim Raby playing at the Old 300 from 8pm, the establishment charges a $10 cover.

Cathy would like to thank everyone for making her time here enjoyable and she looks forward to seeing you there!
