Jodie Everett Wunneburger passed away at LBJ Medical Center Johnson City Tx November 13 , 2014 at the age of 90 years.
Joe was born in Paige Tx November 18, 1923 to Sam and Lula Thames Wunneburger. Joe served in the Navy during World War 2 and the Korean War. After his Naval discharge he was a Carpenter by trade. Joe enjoyed Ranching, Hunting, Fishing, and going with the love of his life Gwendolyn to play music and hunt all across Texas, the United States and Canada. Next to his wife Gwendolyn, Joe’s second love was their little Poodles they raised over the years.
Joe is survived by his wife of 52 years Gwendolyn Stubbs Wunneburger, their two poodles Clementine and Nitsey, two sisters and a brother, numerous friends, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service honoring Joe’s life will be Saturday November 22, 2014 11 am at Faith Christian Cowboy Church Johnson City Texas. No burial service is planned.
