
The Blanco Lady Panther Volleyball team captured the Region IV Runner-up trophy on Saturday, November 15 after having defeated Brooks Academy 3-0, Enda 3-0, Goliad 3-1, and Taft 3-1. The Panthers fell to the Poth Pirettes 3-0 in the Regional Finals.
On Tuesday, November 11, Blanco defeated Goliad at Seguin High School 25-18, 22-25, 25-12, and 25-20 to take the regional quarter final match and earn a berth at the regional tournament in San Antonio at Blossom Athletic Center. Reagan Rogers blistered 35 kills, with Lexee Jenkins making 38 assists. Kari Graham hit 2 aces with Jamie McClinton slamming 5 blocks. Abbie Culton had 19 digs.
In the Regional Semifinal game at Blossom against Taft, Blanco won 26-28, 25-22, 25-20, and 25-22. Rogers hit 45 hills with Jenkins making 51 sets. Rogers nailed 5 aces. McClinton, Jenkins and Culton each had 1 block. Jenkins led with 5 digs.
In the Regional Final, Blanco fell to perennial powerhouse Poth, 17-25, 7-25, and 16-25. Rogers hit 11 kills and Jenkins made 14 assists. Graham hit 1 ace, with McClinton Jenkins and Hulburt each making 1 block. Rogers led with 11 digs.
