Hosting the first ever - Holiday Bazaar and Scavenger Hunt at the Blanco Buggy Barn Museum, December 13th beginning at 10 am. You will be able to stroll through the old west historic barns and buildings. Vendors will be staged throughout the buildings (indoors) for your comfort and joy! Enjoy a hot bowl of homemade beef cabbage stew and corn bread. There will be a variety of your favorite desserts, plus lots of other holiday treats.

You won’t want to miss the newly constructed (still on going) western movie set. Many of the old wagons, buggies and carriages will be holiday decked out for your enjoyment. These will be great for those family photos. Many holiday gift items will be available as well.

Then the real fun begins. Between 5-7 pm, join us with your family and friends to ride on one of the many wagons, buggies, or carriages in the Christmas parade. Sing Christmas carols as the wagon train will depart from the Blanco Buggy Barn Museum and will travel to high school parking lot to line up with the rest of the parade participants. This will be on a first-come for room availability, so don’t be late. Maybe your family will ride with Santa!

After the parade, to warm you up, the wagon train will return to the Blanco Buggy Barn Museum for a holiday social with hot coffee and chocolate, homemade eggnog and holiday goodies while enjoying live music and a little boot scoot’n.

The best part of the holidays is sharing and coming together. The second best part - it’s FREE. The Blanco Buggy Barn Museum family, staff, crew, volunteers and vendors, want to send a special holiday message of thanks and appreciation for your continued support and contributions.

The Blanco Buggy Barn Museum will remain in full holiday spirit through December. So plan to come by, take this opportunity to see all the new and continuing remodeling of the western movie set. This includes the old west church and antique bell. It’s the best of the best for the Blanco Community!
