From Highland Lakes Area CASA

CASA for the Highland Lakes Area, a charitable non-profit organization that speaks up for the best interest of abused and neglected children, is currently collecting donations for its Angel Tree. This year our angels can be found in the following locations: Security State Bank and Trust at 608 US Highway 281 in Marble Falls.

If you are a business in the five counties we serve, Burnet, Blanco, Llano, Lampasas and San Saba, and would like to collect toys and gift cards for CASA, please call our office at 325-388-3440 and ask to speak to Galyn Woerner.

We are asking for the donation of new and unwrapped gifts, or gift cards. Children in foster care have such little control over their lives. A gift card allows them an opportunity to pick out a gift they can truly call their own. Something as simple as shopping can be incredibly rewarding and fulfilling for a foster child.

CASA for the Highland Lakes Area had a flood in our office this past June and many of our toys were damaged. We need the communities help more than ever this year. The gifts we give the abused and neglected children we serve provide joy to children who have suffered so many traumas.

The angels may be picked up in November! Please bring the unwrapped gifts or gift cards to the establishment where the Angel was originally picked up by December 5, 2014. The gifts can also be delivered to the CASA for the Highland Lakes Area office at 1719 Ridgeview in Kingsland, weekdays between 8:00 AM to 5 PM.

Thank you for helping our CASA kids!
