For the second time this month, members of the Blanco FFA Chapter participated in a leadership building event as 24 local members traveled to Fredericksburg High School to take part in the Hill District FFA Leadership Development Camp. Of the 24 students from Blanco, 23 were first year FFA members, or Greenhands.
Junior Bret Leigh Nance also represented the local chapter, as well as the Hill District FFA, by serving as a district officer and serving as a facilitator for the event. Greenhand members attending the camp included: Madison Kneese, Cheyenne Dechert, Cassidy Wagner, Reilly Burnett, Kendall Brock, Kaylin Gaskamp, Emily Biggs, Ty Preiss, Brandon Phipps, Will Granberg, Wade Robinson, Alexis Bates, Nelly Saldona, Peyton Van Dyke, Jo Mac Crofts, Amber Slater, Jenna McHugh, Catie Bickham, Lance Reinhard, Grady Owen, Skylar Wiseman, John Lovingood and Cade Smith.
