Join us on Thursday, September 11, 2014, from 7 to 7:45 pm on the west side of the Old Blanco County Courthouse near the flag pole for Cry Out America.
Cry Out America is a united effort seeking deep transformation and a Christ Awakening in every state, every county, every church, and every heart in the nation. Blanco churches will join together for this brief ceremony to both honor our local First Responders (Blanco Police, EMS and Fire Departments) and to pray and sing.
This year’s theme is based on Joel 1:14, “Declare a holy fast, call a sacred assembly, summon the elders and all who live in the land to the house of the Lord your God, and cry out to the Lord.” Blanco County will be joining other believers from across our nation who will be praying at events like this all day on Sept. 11. This will be a time to reflect on the greatness of our nation, recognize our shortcomings, and pray for a spiritual awakening. We also want to express our appreciation to our first responders for their dedication and commitment to protecting our community. Please join us in seeking God’s help for the soul of our nation.
