The Lady Panthers defeated the Geneva School of Boerne Eagles, 3-1, on Tuesday, August 26. Game scores were 25-23, 24-26,25-17, and 25-20. On Friday, August 29, the Panthers stopped the Canyon Lake Lady Hawks 3-1. After dropping the first game, 21-25, the Blanco girls rallied back to take 3 straight with scores of 25-23, 25-12, 25-14.
The Freshmen squad won their match against Boerne Geneva 2-1, but lost 0-2 to Canyon Lake. The Junior Varsity defeated Boerne Geneva 2-1 and also posted a win with a close battle over Canyon Lake 2-0 with game scores of 25-23 and 31-29.
The Varsity plays in the St. Mary’s Hall Tournament on Friday and Saturday, September 5 and 6 in San Antonio. The next home games are scheduled for Tuesday, September 9 at 5:00, 6:00, and 7:00. Come support your Blanco volleyball team!
