Eva M. Nolte (Obituaries)

Eva May Wainscott Nolte, 73 of Paris, went to joyfully be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, August 22, 2014.

Ms. Eva was born February 21, 1941 in San Jose, California to the late Jesse James Wainscott of same and the late Blanche Faye King of Blanco, Texas.

Cremation is being handled by Bright Holland Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service is planned for Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Grace Lutheran Church in Paris, Texas at 10:30 am.

On May 24, 1959, two days after high school graduation, she married Dwayne E. Nolte of Lacona, Iowa, building 55 years of family, friends and memories.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Harold Martin of Dallas, Iowa; brother, Gene Wainscott of Des Moines, Iowa; sister, Vera Reeves of San Jose, California; her in-laws, Glen and Fern Nolte of Melcher, Iowa; brother in-law, Phil Nolte of Knoxville, Iowa and a long list of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews and one great-granddaughter, Stephanie Pitcock of Roxton, Texas.

She is survived by her husband, Dwayne Nolte of Paris, Texas; her children: daughter, Carolyn Hansaker and husband, LeRoy of Melcher, Iowa; daughter, Nancy Baker and husband, Dale of Grosebeck, Texas; son, James Nolte of Paris, Texas; daughter, Penny Pitcock and husband, Daniel of Paris, Texas; daughter, Ashton Nolte of Paris, Texas; fourteen grandchildren: Scott Hansaker and Brenda, of Knoxville, Iowa; Travis Hansaker and wife, Amanda of Melcher, Iowa; Steven Pitcock and wife, LaCresha of Paris, Texas; Heather Estudillo of Grand Prairie, Texas; Kara McLelland and husband, Lee of Grosebeck, Texas; Hannah Baker and husband, David of Dallas, Texas; Jennifer Nolte, Casey Nolte, Benjamin Nolte and Chelsea Nolte of Corpus Christi, Texas; Nicholas Lenz and wife, Charity of Hewitt, Texas; Stasha Lenz stationed in Layton, Utah; Abigail Pitcock and Alexis Pitcock of Paris, Texas; nine great-grandchildren: Kaylee Hansaker, Savannah Hansaker and Trista Hansaker of Melcher, Iowa; Logan Estudillo of Grand Prairie, Texas; Michael McLelland and Gabriel McLelland of Grosebeck, Texas; Avery Baker of Dallas, Texas; Cheyenne Blessengame and Willa Lenz of Hewitt, Texas and one great-great grandson, Bentley Hansaker of Melcher, Iowa. She is also survived by a multitude of Nieces, Nephews, other family members, dear friends she considered as family and many, many great friends.

Eva and Dwayne were licensed foster parents to an assortment of children who were started on the road to a wonderful new life through their home. Eva and Dwayne have lived in Dallas, Iowa; Austin, Texas; Blanco, Texas; Honey Grove, Texas and settled in Paris, Texas in 1997. Eva served many years as an EMT on the Blanco Volunteer Ambulance Corp in Blanco, Texas. While in Blanco she was a member of the Hill Country Artists, painting side by side with some of our States renown artists. Everywhere she has lived she supported her local Lutheran church by teaching Sunday school, singing in the choir and holding various offices. She has helped with Agape House here in Paris, Texas. Her local employment includes: the City of Toco, T&K (Boeing) and the NE Texas Ear, Nose & Throat Center. Ms. Eva will be truly missed. May she rest in peace.
