On Monday, August 18 the Panther volleyball team defeated the Burnet Lady Bulldogs 19-25, 25-21,27-25, 25-20. Reagan Rogers paced Blanco with 35 kills and 13 digs. Lexee Jenkins made 41 assists. Payton Savarino hit 3 aces. Skylar Burns made 3 blocks, with Abbie Culton adding 12 digs. The junior varsity lost 15-25 and 17-25. The freshmen fell 9-25 and 13-25.
The following night on Tuesday, August 19 the Panthers played dual matches in Boerne against Llano and Boerne. Blanco downed the Llano Lady Jackets 2-14, 25-16, and 25-14. Rogers hit 16 kills, 4 aces, and 6 digs. Jenkins made 20 assists and 1 block. Jamie McClinton hit 1 block, with Savarino making 10 digs.
The Panthers lost a close battle to Boerne 22-25,21-25, 27-25 and 11-25. Rogers made 32 kills, 1 ace, 1 block, and 12 digs. Jenkins assisted 38 times. McClinton hit 2 aces and 1 block. Burns added 1 block, with Culton making 18 digs.
The Panthers host the Canyon Lake Lady Hawks on Friday, August 29 with freshmen and junior varsity times set for 4:00, followed by the varsity game at 5:00.
