Three local members from the Blanco FFA Chapter attended the Area VII FFA Leadership Camp in Bastrop at Camp McKinney Roughs. FFA members attending the camp spent three days taking part in leadership building activities while also learning about important issues involving the FFA that will be voted on at the upcoming State FFA Convention in Ft. Worth. Students also began preparations for the upcoming school year by helping their respective districts with planning camps, banquets and competitive events.
Attending from Blanco were Brett Leigh Nance, Hill District FFA Secretary, Garrett Seales and Molly Edmondson. Local FFA members, plus more than 10,000 others from across the state, will now look forward to attending the State FFA Convention in Ft. Worth from July 13th through the 18th.
