Naron Leon Fisher II, known to all as “Bubba”, age 51, of Blanco, Texas joined our Creator in his eternal home on Saturday, June 28, 2014. His passing was the result of a tragic motorcycle accident that also claimed the life of his beloved wife, Stephanie Vradenburg Fisher. The family deeply mourns the loss of our daughter and sister-in-law, our aunt and our friend.
Bubba was entrusted to his mother, Janet Fisher and his father, Naron “Sonny” Fisher on June 22, 1963 in San Antonio, Texas. The family moved to Blanco in 1971. Many acquaintances were made and they have remained as close friends throughout the years. Bubba was a very talented and entrepreneurial man. His creativity was expressed in varying ways. He was a gifted artist and was quite accomplished at fixing most anything needing to be repaired. If he couldn’t fix it, it most likely couldn’t be fixed.
He had a unique sense of humor that lives on in his four beloved children, Jessica Marie Fisher, Naron Leon Fisher III, Burke Stratton Fisher, and Emily Brooke Fisher.
Bubba is survived by, his mother Janet Fisher, his father Sonny Fisher and wife, Carol, his sister, Priscilla Ford (Rick) of Longview, Texas, his brother John (Donna) Hickman of Tampa, Florida and his sister, Peggy Hostetler of Blanco, along with numerous nieces, nephews and a host of extended family and friends.
A celebration of Bubba’s life will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at Crofts-Crow Funeral Chapel in Blanco. Visitation will be from 10 am to noon. A chapel service officiated by Pastor Jerry Hoyt will commence at 12 p.m. Interment will follow at the Blanco Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Clarence Fuchs, John Hickman, David Hostetler, Aaron Hostetler, Carson Weiershausen, and Trey Fisher.
If desired, donations can be made to a fund set up for Emily Fisher, daughter of Bubba and Stephanie, at Johnson City Bank.
Bubba’s family wishes to thank everyone for their kind expressions of sympathy, love and encouragement. In the words of Bubba Fisher, “God is good.” Ecclesiastes 3.
