Ok Paul, I think you got the messages from your constituents that we do not want you to spend $800,000 on a bridge to nowhere, like Sarah Palin did in Alaska, so to speak.
Remember even if you get federal grant, when we fill out our federal tax return we are paying for grants also. So it is not free monies.
We here at Chimney Valley Road could use some help. You did a survey at the second low water crossing and said it cost to much to fix. I do not think it cost $800,000. I could call Jesse Ruiz and ask him what his bid was, but it is Saturday and he is not working. And if you remember back when we could not get out of our sub division for seven days due to flooding. Why don’t you think about raising the first bridge so if we ever get the good rains again we will not be stuck here for seven days. They have a way to get out if it floods that bridge.
I wonder what would have happen if all this came out before the last election?
