The seventh annual Project Graduation Fishing Tournament was held at the LBJ Marina in Cotton Wood Shores on Sunday, April 6, 2014. Twenty-four, two person teams participated in this fun event to support the BHS Class of 2014, the most teams ever. Ten limits were caught, 68 fish with an average weight of 2.66 lbs. Pictured at right is the first place team of Chris Bradfield and Tayler Bradfield with a total of 22.62 lbs caught and the Big Bass weighing in at 5.56 lbs. The senior class would like to thank Lester and Carol Coldaway for organizing another great fishing adventure for our kids benefit and Frank Hodge and his boys for setting everything up and keeping it running smoothly. A very special thanks to 4th Street Market, NAPA Auto Parts, Ace Hardware, Monica McCormick and Farm Bureau, and Peterson Tire for their sponsorships and donation items. A big shout out also goes to the BHS Shop class for making the hand made trophies.
