This Saturday, April 5th, at Yett Park from 4-8 pm is the annual BVFD Fish Fry. This event if the primary fundraiser for the department. Nearly 88% of our funds come from Blanco’s Emergency District #2, while the remainder are generated from events like the Fish Fry or other donations throughout the year. These donated funds are used for modern equipment and other needs of the department. As many of you know, your Blanco Volunteer Fire Department is a non-profit (501c3) organization, thus, all donations to it are tax deductible.

Although the department is responsible for the annual Fish Fry, its success is due , in large part, to the generous support of local individuals and businesses who donate both their time and resources to insure its success.

We would like to extend a loud and hearty THANK YOU to the following businesses for their support of your Blanco Volunteer Fire Department: 4th Street Market, Miss Kitty Fishing Getaways, D&H, Napa Auto Parts, Baker Guns, Oak Creek Cafe, Best Western Inn & Suites, Benson Farm and Ranch, Old 300 BBQ, BJ’s Bakery, Papa Joeys, CarQuest, Peterson Tire, Cabelas, Ranch Hand - Boerne, Chess Club, HEB @ US 281 and 46, K & C Supply, RedBud Cafe, Klepac Nursery, Woods Cycle Country, Lowes Food & Seed, Twice the Ice, Mike Buck, Longhorn River Ranch, Sears, and Jerry Cloud.

Without their support, this event would not be possible.

Last, please join us at Yett Park on Saturday afternoon, enjoy the good food, family fun and entertainment. And don’t forget, the donation for your meal, raffle tickets, etc. is tax deductible. See you Saturday!
