Everything You Need to Know About Container Gardening (Regional News)

Highland Lakes Master Gardeners Kitty Rawlings (Left) and Pete Smith (Right) will share “Everything you need to know about Container Gardening” at the 16th Annual Hill Country Lawn & Garden Show on Saturday, March 29, 2014, at the Burnet Community Center, 401 E. Jackson St, from 9 am- 4 pm. This year, Master Gardeners will be demonstrating and sharing information on gardening topics throughout the day, including Hill Country Grasses, Rainwater Harvesting, Composting/Compost Tea, TX Native Bulbs, and Trees in the Hill Country. Plants for every garden will be available for purchase– vegetables, herbs, natives, succulents, houseplants, and exotics. Vendors will also be offering the latest in lawn and garden equipment and decor. There will be a special children’s activity area, food vendors, and a raffle. The FREE family event is sponsored by the Highland Lakes Master Gardener Assn. in conjunction with the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension.
