The Panther boys basketball team grabbed two more district wins to stay undefeated in District 27-2A. On Tuesday, February 4, the Panthers outscored the Lago Vista Vikings 62-48 and on Saturday, February 8 defeated the Comfort Bobcats, 54-43. Against Lago Vista Josh McCaslin led the Panthers scoring 13 points, followed closely by Kyle Sauceda with 12 and Brett Champion with 11. Tyler Schlinke scored 10 while Carlin Green and David Ramirez each scored 5 points. Ty Royce sank 4 with Jacob McCaslin adding 2.
In the Comfort game Jacob McCaslin and Sauceda each scored 14 points to pace the Panthers. Champion added 11 with Green sinking 8 points. Josh McCaslin made 5 and Schlinke added 2.
Due to hazardous, icy road conditions, the Panthers game against Johnson City has been moved to Wednesday, February 12. Make the short drive to Johnson City to support the Panthers. The JV game begins at 5:00.
