Lone Star Capital Bank has announced that it completed its operational merger with its Hill Country division, currently doing business as Cattleman’s National Bank, on February 7, 2014.

“Once the operational systems are completely integrated, our customers in Marble Falls, Dripping Springs, Johnson City, Blanco, San Antonio, and all surrounding areas will be able to take advantage of the same services. We have made a significant investment in our technology infrastructure to accommodate new products and delivery systems” said Danny Buck, President and CEO of Lone Star Capital Bank.

“We have been looking forward to this day ever since we actually completed the legal merger of our banks on September 30, 2012. This will give us more products and services to offer our customers. We truly took the best of what we had and added even more. Although the signs will change at the Hill Country branches, our customers will still see the same friendly bankers they have known for years,” said Mark Hodges, Market Executive of Lone Star Capital Bank’s Hill Country Division.

Lone Star Capital Bank reported $247 million in assets on December 31, 2013, and has a total of eight branches. It is positioned well to take advantage of the growth and good economic conditions that exist in San Antonio and the Hill Country. The bank envisions further expansion to other markets in central Texas as those opportunities arise.

Tom Roddy, Chairman of Lone Star Capital Bank added, “We have been pleased with the growth of the bank and the number of new customers that we have attracted. Having common products and services throughout the bank will benefit our customers in the markets we serve.”

Lone Star Capital Bank was founded in 2003 and is principally owned by the family of Tom Benson. The bank specializes in products and services for entrepreneurs, small and medium sized businesses, executives, professionals, and real estate investors. Lone Star Capital Bank takes pride in providing friendly service, convenient solutions, and responsive decisions.
