Cub Scout Pack 497 and Frontier Girls Troop 247 held their annual Pinewood Derby race Sunday, February 2.
The boys and girls each were given a block of wood, wheels and axles to make their own pinewood derby car. Each car could be no more than 5 ounces and the fastest car wins!
The track is four feet high and 35 feet long and this was its 35th year!
Out of the ten boys who raced, Hayden Raczkowski took first while Cole Tharp came in second and Ethan Wheat placed third.
Out of the five girls who raced, Alex Hartman placed first, Kayla Raczkowski placed second and Lizzy Wheat took third.
