Eva Fay Spencer, 80 of Georgetown, Texas and formerly of Blanco, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2014. Visitation was held Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Crofts – Crow Funeral Home in Blanco, Texas from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Chapel services were held Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Crofts – Crow Funeral Chapel in Blanco, Texas, burial followed in Blanco Cemetery.
Eva Fay was born in Dripping Springs, Texas on March 31, 1933, to Leonard Clayton and Annie Mae (Champion) Wagner. She grew up in Blanco and graduated from Blanco High School, and she remained a faithful Panther fan attending as many reunions as possible. Eva Fay worked for 35 years at Austin State Hospital as Director of Medical Records. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; Gordon Elwood Spencer, daughters; Sandra Ann Jowers and Elaine Alexander Sinor, a brother; Ney Cecil Wagner, three sisters; Wilma Luerson, Gladys Reeves and Neva Ray Wagner.
Eva Fay is survived by; two sons; Marvin Lyn Jowers and wife Deveda of Red Rock, Tx, and Dennis Jowers and wife Judy of Marble Falls, Tx., a son-in-law; Troy Alexander of Georgetown, Tx., eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. As well as many nieces and nephews.
