Starting November 1, 2012, and running through December 31, 2012, we are doing our Food for Fines program again. Just bring in unexpired and undamaged boxed or canned goods to pay off your overdue fines; one food item = $1 off. All donations go to Good Samaritan to help families in need for the holidays. Note: this program is for late fines, not lost materials.

Thank you to all of the children who participated in our Summer Reading Program this last summer! Some of our prize winner award letters were returned to the library and we still have pencils waiting to be picked up. Here is the final list of all our winners: Andrea C., John S., Emmett H., Tori L., Daniel C., Mariah N., Ryan G., and Juan R.

Don’t forget our Christmas gift ideas! Stop by our library and purchase a beautiful Hill Country calendar for $5, yummy salsa for $7, a fun “I support the Blanco Library” T-shirt for $12, or good books and movies ranging from $.50-$5.
