Library Offers Affordable Care Act Navigator (Community News)

Community Announcement: Blanco County has an Affordable Care Act Navigator. This person has been trained to help people navigate the government HealthCare website and apply for the health insurance. If you need help, you can contact them at 1-800-960-5201 to set up a FREE appointment. The county trainer will be here January 9th at 6pm to give a presentation and overview of the program.

Easy Gift Ideas:

- Show your caring side by donating and putting your name on a dove. Last year it was the Angel Tree, this year we have beautiful doves! Our doves start at $5 and you get a FREE 2013 calendar to take home. If you are donating in the name of a loved one, you can take a card to give to them to let them know how special they are.

-Beautiful hill country picture calendars are available for $5 each

-Pick up books, movies, and CDs starting at $.25 for quick gifts

Remember: We will be closed December 24th-25th and December 31st-January 1st. No items are due on these days and we hope you all have a happy and safe holiday! If you need to take care of your fines, we have a deal for you! Food for Fines program: $1 off late fines for 1 box or can of food. It helps you and the local community! Offer ends January 15th. Do you have $3 in late fines, no problem! Just bring 3 cans. Do you have $20 in late fines? No problem either! Bring in 20 cans or boxes of goods and take care of that pesky debt!
