“He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” 1 John 5:12 KJV
I hope you have met our Saviour, Jesus Christ. If you haven’t, may I share some things about Him with you?
He is kind, gentle, quiet, peaceful, loving, sweet, comforting, wise, confidential, trustworthy, all knowing, and ALMIGHTY. He knows each one of us inside and out, so, if you have something within you that you need to get off your chest, you can tell Him all about it, trusting that He won’t tell anyone else.
John 14:16- “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;”
Now, I’m not telling you not to go to a counselor, or a preacher, or a doctor. But God’s Word leads us by His discretion. If we lean on Him for all things, have submitted all to Him, and have asked Him for His wisdom, then He will guide us to the proper source. He begins to lead us when we seek His counsel.
When we have choices to make, such as choosing doctors, God will guide us to the one who wasn’t sleeping while studying a certain procedure, or who didn’t party the night before (or got enough sleep) the night before he is to do your procedure so he doesn’t leave a sponge inside, etc. God has also given all of us gifts to help each other, and when we’re walking with God, He gives us discernment through His Spirit in us.
Micah 7:5 -“Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.”
There comes a time when we’ve tried everything else and no one can help us, and I’m here to tell you that Jesus can, when no one else can.
The strong point is that we must believe in Him. If we are His, and His Holy Spirit resides in our hearts and we are one in spirit with His Spirit, then His Spirit will guide us.
If you are not His, and don’t believe in Him, then you are not one in Spirit with Him, and His Spirit will not guide you. If you have not found Him, or have not invited Him into your heart, you are still lost and will be lost forever. If you want eternal life with Him, you must BELIEVE IN HIM.
Proverbs 17:17 – “A Friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.”
If you want the blessings God gives us when we believe in and receive Jesus into our hearts, you must go to the Father and repent of your sins, turn away from them, acknowledge Jesus as LORD, and invite Him into your heart, and He will give you His Spirit to reside in you.
Luke 11:13 – “If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give theHoly Spirit to them that ask him?”
Seek Him and you will find Him. Ask God for His wisdom, and read His Word and get to know Jesus. He is the Word made flesh. He gives us a new heart when we receive Him. You will begin to receive blessings, and He will excite you with little things that only He knows about you, to show you that He has His eye on you, and is walking with you.
John 14:16-“And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;”
No matter who tries to bring you down, just take it to Him, because He goes before you and behind you, and He causes your enemies to be at peace with you, because He is the heart changer, and moves mountains.
That’s not saying we won’t have problems, because Jesus said in the world we will have tribulation, but it’s saying when those problems come, you can either go through them on the lower level, or you can go through them on the higher level, with the Lord before and behind you, keeping you on top with His joy and peace in your heart, even while going through, leading you with His eye on you and encouraging you with small and large triumphs and rewards throughout the trial, so you’re victorious and come out with a testimony of how He brought you through.
Ephesians 3:14-21- “14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.”
