
The Wayne and Eileen Hurd Regional Medical Center Scott & White, located at U.S. 281 and Hwy 71, Marble Falls, TX was begun in April of this year, and is expected to be completed in the Spring of 2013.
The specialty clinic will have three stories, and encompass 60,000 square feet. The clinic will offer primary care as well as a multitude of specialties, including cardiology, general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedics, ENT, urology, ophthalmology, dermatology, GI, neurology, pulmonary, pain management, hematology, oncology and optometry.
After-hours care and extended care for non-emergencies will also be available.
The Medical Center will also include a Hospital, which is slated to open in 2014; Scott & White plans to have 46 beds, with the capability to expand to 80 beds in the future. The hospital will have four operating rooms, offer diagnostic services, pharmacy and a 24-hour emergency department, as well as interventional radiology, and obstetrical services.
Scott & White Healthcare has set-up a camera so the community can see the various stages of development at the site of the Wayne and Eileen Hurd Regional Medical Center Campus, named for Hill Country visionaries Wayne and Eileen Hurd, who were the founders of Horseshoe Bay.
