April 8, 1983 ONE INJURED- Steven Hill of Johnson City reportedly suffered broken ribs and a broken ankle when the motorcycle he was riding collided Saturday afternoon with a pickup truck at the intersection of Avenue D and Seventh Street in Johnson City. Apparently Hill failed to observe a stop sign at the intersection and collided with the pickup truck driven by Norman Weirich, also of Johnson City. He was examined by Dr. David Vause and taken to LBJ Memorial Hospital by the Blanco Volunteer Ambulance Corps. -John Hulburt photo.
