Lady Panthers District Runnerup (Sports)

The Panther volleyball team completed their district schedule with a 3-1 win over the Johnson City Lady Eagles on Tuesday, October 23. Set scores were 25-21, 25-18, 23-25, and 25-17.

The Panthers held a 5-2 district record, tied with Comfort for 2nd place. The Panthers and the Deer met in Fredericksburg on Friday, October 26, to break the tie and determine their playoff opponents. Blanco played strong winning 3-1, with set scores 25-13, 17-25, 25-12 and 25-21.

As the 2nd place representative from District 27-AA, the Panthers faced Hallettsville for Bi-District in Luling, Tuesday, October 30, after presstime.
