Someone said, “Australia is not always a friendly place for tourists. We have Great White Sharks hovering off our beaches, man-eating crocodiles in our Northern regions, deadly box jellyfish with stingers extending meters and meters, the deadliest spider in the world, and 13 of the world’s 20 deadliest snakes! But of all the dangers presented to American tourists a little remembered one is their attempts to cross our roads. It’s simply because the two countries drive on opposite sides of the road. American tourists in Australia easily find themselves looking in the wrong direction, and then stepping out into oncoming traffic.”
Looking in the wrong direction can be very dangerous, especially in living life. Many search for the answers in wealth, or pleasure, or popularity, or addictions, or the stars, but to do so is to look in the wrong direction. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight” (Proverbs 3:5-6). Before stepping out into the world make sure you’re looking in the right direction!
"Draw near to God and He will draw near to you" (James 4:8). Come and learn of His grace and direction for your life.
